OUR MISSION
We ignite the passion to live a life full of growth and discovery through adult education. Runucate (run + educate) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to raising funds for education by running marathons around the world. The funds provide educational opportunities to individuals, groups and organizations striving to improve their quality of life. In June of 2018, Runucate shifted fundraising focus from schools in Nicaragua to the United States.
Acquiring a new skill set, learning to read, obtaining a GED, speaking English, etc. significantly improves a student’s odds of success in the community. Education provides an advantage to secure stable employment that will benefit both the individual and their family for a healthy and productive lifestyle.

How Does Runucate Help?
Courtney participates in various running events including marathons and half marathons to raise awareness by fundraising. Funds pledged per mile, per event, and general donations are applied towards a qualified school and/or organization in the local community. Students progress is monitored monthly to ensure the most comprehensive program is being provided to the students.
